Responsibilities
- Process retirement applications and pension disbursements with 99.8% accuracy
- Conduct complex benefit calculations under ERISA and state statutes
- Provide weekend support for urgent member inquiries via phone and portal
- Generate quarterly compliance reports for DOL and IRS audits
- Collaborate with HR departments to update member employment records
- Maintain strict confidentiality of participant financial data
- Train on new pension administration software bi-annually
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration
- 3+ years pension plan administration experience
- FINRA Series 65 or 63 certification preferred
- Proficiency in pension software (e.g., Millennium, Milliman)
- Weekend shift availability (Saturday/Sunday 6AM-2PM)
- Advanced knowledge of ERISA and IRS 401(a) regulations
- Ability to process 50+ applications monthly with zero errors
- Government background clearance required
