Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with exceptional accuracy and compassion
- Operate radio systems to coordinate field units during critical incidents
- Maintain detailed logs and records of all communications and activities
- Utilize CAD systems to track incident statuses and resource deployment
- Provide life-saving instructions via phone during medical emergencies
- Collaborate with law enforcement, fire, and EMS personnel seamlessly
- Adhere to strict protocols while handling sensitive and confidential information
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Exceptional communication and active listening skills
- Proficient in typing with minimum 40 WPM accuracy
- Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations
- Basic computer literacy and technical aptitude
- Must be at least 18 years old with valid Virginia driver's license
