Responsibilities
- Receive, prioritize, and dispatch emergency/non-emergency calls with precision
- Operate radio systems, CAD software, and emergency communication equipment
- Maintain accurate call logs and incident documentation
- Coordinate with police, fire, EMS, and other emergency services
- Provide critical information to field units during active incidents
- Remain calm under pressure while managing high-stress situations
- Perform routine system checks and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM (verified through testing)
- Ability to multitask and make critical decisions rapidly
- Strong verbal/written communication skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
