Responsibilities
- Answer emergency/non-emergency calls with professionalism and urgency
- Dispatch police units and emergency services using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation
- Provide pre-arrival instructions to callers in crisis situations
- Monitor multiple radio channels and coordinate responses
- Collaborate with officers and other agencies during critical incidents
- Complete all required training modules to full certification
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 18 years of age at time of hire
- U.S. citizenship and valid Colorado driver's license
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and psychological evaluation
- Exceptional verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm during high-stress emergency situations
- Basic computer proficiency with willingness to learn specialized software
