Responsibilities
- Process incoming emergency/non-emergency calls with speed and accuracy
- Operate CAD/RMS systems and radio communication equipment
- Coordinate with officers, fire, and EMS during critical incidents
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support
- Adhere to NENA and APCO standards for dispatch protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- U.S. citizenship and valid Florida driver's license
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Clear speaking voice and exceptional communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency (Windows OS, typing 40+ WPM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Available for rotating shifts (nights, weekends, holidays)
