Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls using CAD systems
- Dispatch police, fire, and medical units to incident locations
- Maintain accurate radio communications protocols
- Enter and update incident data in RMS databases
- Operate multi-line telephone systems and recording equipment
- Provide crisis intervention and caller guidance
- Adhere to NIMS and departmental policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and polygraph examination
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM
- Clear speaking voice and strong communication skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- No felony convictions or domestic violence charges
