Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with exceptional accuracy and empathy
- Coordinate police, fire, and EMS responses using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain real-time situational awareness during active incidents
- Document all communications in compliance with NIMS protocols
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Operate multi-channel radio systems and emergency alert platforms
- Collaborate with cross-agency partners during multi-jurisdictional events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM with 95% accuracy
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- U.S. citizenship and Massachusetts residency required
- Ability to pass criminal background and psychological evaluations
- Strong multitasking skills and emotional resilience
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn specialized software
- Commitment to 12-week paid training program (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm)
