Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls with calm professionalism and accuracy
- Operate radio equipment to dispatch police units and other emergency services
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications using CAD systems
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide clear instructions to callers during emergency situations
- Complete all training modules with 95%+ proficiency
- Adhere to NIMS protocols and departmental policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be 18+ years old and pass background check
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Strong typing skills (minimum 40 WPM)
- Clear verbal communication abilities
- US citizenship or legal residency status
- Availability to work rotating shifts (24/7 coverage)
