Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with exceptional accuracy and urgency
- Dispatch police, fire, and medical units using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain detailed logs and documentation of all communications
- Provide clear, concise instructions to callers during emergencies
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Operate radio equipment and maintain constant situational awareness
- Adhere to all departmental policies and confidentiality protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Minimum 40 WPM typing proficiency
- Valid California Driver's License
- Ability to pass extensive background check and polygraph
