Responsibilities
- Answer emergency and non-emergency calls with professionalism and empathy
- Operate computer-aided dispatch (CAD) and radio communication systems
- Provide clear, concise information to field units during critical incidents
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all communications
- Coordinate resources during multi-agency emergency responses
- Remain calm and composed under high-pressure situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Strong typing skills (minimum 40 WPM)
- Excellent communication and active listening abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in fast-paced environments
- Must be 18+ years old and a US citizen
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and physical exam
