Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency/non-emergency calls using CAD systems
- Dispatch police, fire, and medical units efficiently during critical incidents
- Maintain accurate radio communication with field personnel
- Input and update real-time data in law enforcement databases
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during large-scale emergencies
- Provide crisis intervention and caller guidance during high-stress situations
- Complete all required training modules within specified timeframe
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Arizona Driver's License (Class D)
- Pass comprehensive background check and polygraph examination
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with accuracy
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends/holidays
- Clear speaking voice with exceptional communication skills
- U.S. citizenship and Arizona residency required
- No felony convictions or misdemeanor domestic violence charges
