Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls with speed and accuracy
- Dispatch police units using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain detailed logs and incident documentation
- Provide critical information to officers and other agencies
- Operate radio equipment and multi-line phone systems
- Remain calm during high-pressure emergency situations
- Adhere to all department protocols and privacy regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to type 40+ WPM (verified test required)
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, nights/weekends/holidays
- Valid Missouri driver's license
- U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
- No felony convictions
