Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls using CAD systems with 99% accuracy
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Maintain detailed logs and incident documentation per NIMS standards
- Operate radio equipment and emergency alert systems
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support
- Train on specialized software including NCIC and RMS databases
- Participate in quarterly emergency simulations and drills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 90% accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle high-stress situations with composure
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
- Must reside within 50 miles of Philadelphia
- Completion of EMD certification within 6 months
