Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with precision and empathy
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and radio logs
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide life-saving instructions via emergency medical protocols
- Operate communication equipment under high-pressure conditions
- Monitor surveillance feeds and radio traffic simultaneously
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Exceptional verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to remain calm during emergencies
- Basic computer proficiency (typing 35+ WPM)
- Pass criminal background check and drug screening
- US citizenship or legal authorization to work
