Responsibilities
- Operate radio communication systems to coordinate emergency responses
- Process 911 calls and dispatch appropriate units efficiently
- Maintain accurate logs of all communications and incidents
- Utilize CAD systems for real-time tracking of field units
- Provide critical information to officers and first responders
- Remain calm and professional during high-pressure situations
- Adhere to departmental policies and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to type 40+ WPM
- Strong verbal communication skills in English/Spanish
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- No felony convictions
- Must complete departmental training program
