Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with accuracy and compassion
- Operate radio systems to coordinate police, fire, and EMS responses
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and incidents
- Utilize CAD systems for real-time tracking of units and resources
- Provide critical information to first responders during dynamic situations
- Remain calm and composed during high-stress emergency scenarios
- Adhere to all department policies and confidentiality protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in fast-paced environments
- Basic computer proficiency with willingness to learn specialized software
- Must be 18+ years old and a U.S. citizen
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM preferred
- No felony convictions
