Responsibilities
- Operate radio communication systems to coordinate emergency responses
- Process 911 calls and dispatch appropriate police/fire/EMS units
- Maintain detailed incident logs using CAD systems
- Provide critical information to field personnel during emergencies
- Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation protocols
- Collaborate with regional agencies during multi-jurisdictional incidents
- Participate in continuous training on new technologies and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM (certification test required)
- Clear speaking voice with excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Basic computer proficiency
- Valid California driver's license
- U.S. citizenship or legal resident status
