Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with exceptional accuracy and empathy
- Operate Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems for real-time resource deployment
- Coordinate with police, fire, and EMS personnel during critical incidents
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and actions taken
- Provide critical information to responding officers using established protocols
- Utilize multilingual communication skills when required
- Participate in continuous training for new technologies and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 50 WPM typing proficiency with 95% accuracy
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to pass extensive background check and psychological evaluation
- Strong multitasking abilities under high-pressure situations
- Proficiency in MS Office and willingness to learn specialized software
- US citizenship or legal authorization to work in the US
- Experience in customer service or public safety (highly desirable)
