Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with precision and empathy
- Coordinate police, fire, and EMS resources during critical incidents
- Operate CAD/RMS systems and multi-channel radio communications
- Maintain detailed incident documentation and case records
- Apply de-escalation techniques during high-stress interactions
- Collaborate with cross-agency responders during multi-jurisdictional events
- Participate in continuous scenario-based training drills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and polygraph examination
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- Exceptional multitasking and decision-making abilities
- Clear articulation and active listening skills
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency status
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
