Responsibilities
- Process 911 emergency calls with precision and compassion
- Coordinate police, fire, and EMS resources during critical incidents
- Maintain accurate radio communications with field units
- Enter and update critical information in CAD/RMS systems
- Follow established protocols for crisis de-escalation
- Train on NIMS and emergency management procedures
- Collaborate with multi-agency responders during disasters
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Clear speaking voice and exceptional communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency (typing 35+ WPM preferred)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Pass background check and drug screening
- US citizenship or legal residency status
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
