Responsibilities
- Process 911 calls and prioritize emergency responses
- Operate radio systems to coordinate police, fire, and EMS units
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and databases
- Provide critical information to first responders during emergencies
- Utilize CAD systems for efficient dispatch operations
- Remain calm under high-pressure situations
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and procedural guidelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM (verified test required)
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
