Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with accuracy and urgency
- Operate Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems and radio equipment
- Coordinate with police, fire, and medical agencies during incidents
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and activities
- Provide critical information to field units and assist in crisis situations
- Perform data entry and record management duties
- Participate in continuous training programs to enhance skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to pass background check, polygraph, and psychological evaluation
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with high accuracy
- Proficiency with computers and multi-tasking in fast-paced environments
- Clear speaking voice and exceptional communication skills
- No felony convictions or serious misdemeanors
