Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls while maintaining detailed incident documentation
- Operate radio systems to coordinate with police, fire, and EMS personnel
- Utilize CAD software to log calls, track units, and manage resources
- Provide critical instructions to callers during medical emergencies or dangerous situations
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of all communications
- Collaborate with multiple agencies during large-scale incidents or disasters
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must pass background check, drug screening, and psychological evaluation
- Ability to type 40+ WPM with high accuracy
- Exceptional communication skills under high-pressure situations
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and willingness to learn specialized software
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass Colorado POST certification requirements
