Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with precision and empathy
- Operate CAD/RMS systems for real-time incident tracking
- Dispatch officers using multi-channel communication equipment
- Maintain accurate digital logs and incident documentation
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide crisis intervention and public safety information
- Operate specialized emergency notification systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Fluent English proficiency with clear communication skills
- Ability to pass background investigation and polygraph exam
- Valid Florida Driver's License (or obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 18 years of age with US citizenship or permanent residency
- Basic computer literacy and data entry competency
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure emergency scenarios
- No felony convictions or disqualifying criminal history
