Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency calls, dispatching police units efficiently
- Maintain accurate radio communication with officers and other agencies
- Enter/update critical incident data in CAD systems
- Provide life-saving instructions to callers during emergencies
- Coordinate resources during multi-agency responses
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and protocol standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong typing skills (minimum 40 WPM)
- Clear communication and active listening abilities
- U.S. citizenship and valid KY driver's license
- Pass background check and drug screening
- No felony convictions
