Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls with precision and empathy
- Dispatch police units using CAD systems and radio protocols
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and records
- Coordinate with multi-agency responders (EMS, Fire, etc.)
- Operate 911 systems and emergency alert platforms
- Undergo rigorous 12-week paid training program
- Adhere to NIMS/ICS protocols during crisis scenarios
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
- Pass criminal background check and psychological evaluation
- Typing speed ≥ 40 WPM with 90% accuracy
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in high-pressure customer service roles
- Must be US citizen or authorized to work
