Responsibilities
- Process 911 and non-emergency calls with precision and empathy
- Operate radio systems to coordinate police, fire, and EMS responses
- Maintain accurate CAD documentation during critical incidents
- Apply NLETS protocols for information verification and warrants
- Execute emergency medical dispatch protocols (EMD)
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support
- Collaborate with regional emergency management agencies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (college coursework preferred)
- Minimum 18 years of age at time of hire
- U.S. citizenship and valid Arizona driver's license
- Pass extensive background investigation and polygraph
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 90% accuracy
- Clear speaking voice with no speech impediments
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- No criminal history (felonies/misdemeanors disqualifying)
