Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls for police, fire, and EMS services
- Operate Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems with precision and speed
- Provide clear, calm instructions during critical incidents
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during emergencies
- Adhere to all federal, state, and departmental protocols
- Complete all required training modules successfully
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- Ability to type 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- No felony convictions or misdemeanor domestic violence charges
