Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls with calm professionalism
- Operate radio systems to coordinate field units
- Enter/update critical information in CAD systems
- Multi-task during high-pressure crisis situations
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident reports
- Adhere to all NIMS protocols and agency procedures
- Provide life-saving instructions via phone
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- US citizenship and valid Ohio driver's license
- Pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Typing speed ≥ 40 WPM (will be tested)
- Ability to work rotating shifts/nights/weekends
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- No felony convictions
- Basic computer proficiency
