Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with precision and empathy
- Dispatch appropriate units to incidents using CAD systems and radio protocols
- Maintain accurate records and logs in compliance with NCIC standards
- Provide critical information to officers and other public safety agencies
- Operate multi-channel communication systems during high-stress scenarios
- Complete mandatory training modules within designated timelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and psychological evaluation
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer-aided dispatch systems
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Must be 18+ years old and a U.S. citizen
- No felony convictions
