Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with precision and empathy
- Dispatch police officers and emergency services using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation
- Monitor multiple radio channels during critical incidents
- Provide pre-arrival medical instructions via telephone
- Coordinate resources for major events and emergencies
- Collaborate with multi-agency responders during crisis situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and polygraph examination
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations
- Basic computer proficiency (typing test required: 40+ WPM)
- Valid Colorado driver's license
- Must be 18+ years old and a U.S. citizen
- Pass hearing and vision tests
