Responsibilities
- Operate radio communication systems to dispatch police units and emergency services
- Utilize CAD software to log incidents and maintain real-time situational awareness
- Provide critical information to officers and the public during emergency situations
- Maintain accurate records of all calls and communications
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Adhere to strict protocols for sensitive information handling
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM (will be tested)
- Ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
