Responsibilities
- Process emergency calls and dispatch appropriate personnel using CAD systems
- Maintain accurate radio communication with officers during critical incidents
- Enter and update real-time data in law enforcement databases
- Provide crisis intervention and pre-arrival instructions to callers
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during major emergencies
- Monitor surveillance systems and report suspicious activities
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive information
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Minnesota driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and polygraph examination
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Experience in high-stress customer service environments preferred
- Basic computer proficiency with Windows OS
- Fluency in English (Spanish bilingual candidates encouraged to apply)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
