What You’ll Do:
- Receive and accurately process emergency and non-emergency calls for service.
- Dispatch law enforcement, fire, and medical units to incidents using Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems.
- Maintain detailed and precise incident logs and records.
- Provide critical information and support to field units during active incidents.
- Monitor radio frequencies to ensure unit availability and status.

Responsibilities
- Receive, evaluate, and process emergency and non-emergency calls for service with accuracy and speed.
- Dispatch law enforcement, fire, and medical units to incidents utilizing computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date incident logs and records.
- Provide information and assistance to the public, callers, and field units during high-stress situations.
- Coordinate resources for major incidents, disasters, or special events.
- Monitor radio frequencies for unit status and unit availability.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to type at least 35-40 words per minute.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and in emergency situations.
- Must pass a background check, medical examination, and drug screen.
