Responsibilities
- Process 911/Police emergency calls with speed and accuracy
- Operate radio systems to coordinate field units during critical incidents
- Enter and update information in CAD/RMS databases in real-time
- Maintain calm communication with distressed callers during emergencies
- Collaborate with fire, EMS, and other law enforcement agencies
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and procedural guidelines
- Participate in ongoing scenario-based training drills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid California Driver's License
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM (verified by assessment)
- Ability to pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Exceptional multitasking and stress management skills
- Clear speaking voice and strong communication abilities
- Must be at least 18 years old
