Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with precision and compassion
- Operate CAD systems, radio equipment, and NCIC databases
- Coordinate with law enforcement, fire, and EMS during critical incidents
- Maintain detailed incident logs and documentation
- Implement emergency protocols during natural disasters or active threats
- Provide clear, concise information to first responders
- Train on multi-channel communication systems and de-escalation techniques
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with accuracy
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Valid Nebraska driver's license
- Strong conflict resolution and multitasking skills
- Experience in customer service or high-pressure environments preferred
- Must be US citizen or authorized to work
