Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues and draft evidence-based recommendations for state programs
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using data sources including census and agency reports
- Collaborate with legislative bodies and state agencies to implement policy initiatives
- Prepare concise briefing papers and presentations for senior leadership
- Monitor federal regulatory changes and assess implications for Pennsylvania
- Evaluate program effectiveness using performance metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of policy analysis or research experience in government/nonprofit
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SPSS, SAS)
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information for diverse audiences
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania legislative and regulatory processes
- Strong written communication skills with portfolio of policy documents
