Responsibilities
- Analyze agency performance data using Excel and Tableau to identify operational inefficiencies
- Research and synthesize best practices from state/local government programs
- Prepare draft memoranda and briefing documents for senior leadership review
- Coordinate cross-functional working groups on process improvement initiatives
- Support implementation of the President's Management Agenda priorities
- Track legislation impacts through the Congressional Research Service database
- Develop recommendations for streamlining citizen-facing services
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience in policy analysis, research, or government operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship required for federal position clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI) preferred
- Knowledge of federal procurement regulations a plus
