Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, and deliver mail along assigned routes in Columbus neighborhoods
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Process customer transactions including sales of stamps and postal products
- Operate automated mail processing equipment with precision and efficiency
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and service quality standards
- Report maintenance issues with vehicles and postal equipment promptly
- Maintain professional communication with customers and colleagues
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status required
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic computer literacy for digital tracking systems
- Reliable transportation to and from postal facilities
- Ability to work in various weather conditions year-round
