Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail/packages to residential and commercial addresses along designated routes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Collect outgoing mail and process postage payments
- Provide courteous customer service during interactions with residents/businesses
- Maintain route efficiency by optimizing delivery sequences and timing
- Report mail irregularities, damaged property, or suspicious activities
- Operate scanning equipment to confirm delivery status
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- U.S. citizenship or legal permanent resident status
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
