Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along designated routes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently in all weather conditions
- Collect outgoing mail and process postage payments accurately
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain detailed delivery records and customer correspondence logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during mail interactions and route inquiries
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and operational procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly and push/pull heavy mail carts
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Basic computer literacy for mail processing systems
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work independently in varying weather conditions
