Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and distribute mail and packages according to postal regulations
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to established routes
- Collect outgoing mail from residential and commercial addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report irregularities
- Provide exceptional customer service at all points of contact
- Operate postal equipment including scanners and sorting machines
- Adhere to all USPS safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (8+ hours)
