Responsibilities
- Sort, categorize, and process incoming/outgoing mail according to USPS protocols
- Load/unload mail containers and operate mail processing machinery
- Deliver mail along designated routes with accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer inquiries
- Adhere to strict safety standards while handling mail and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
