Responsibilities
- Sort, process, and distribute mail/packages according to established routes and schedules
- Operate mail processing equipment and maintain accurate delivery records
- Load/unload postal vehicles safely and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service at retail counters and during deliveries
- Adhere to all USPS regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards
- Manage inventory of mail supplies and equipment
- Assist in resolving delivery issues and customer inquiries
- Collaborate with team members to maintain operational efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 70+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer proficiency for tracking systems
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Previous warehouse/logistics experience preferred
