Responsibilities
- Sort, process, and distribute mail/packages efficiently according to USPS protocols
- Deliver residential and commercial mail on assigned routes daily
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer inquiries
- Operate mail processing equipment safely and effectively
- Adhere to strict safety standards for vehicle operation and package handling
- Assist with mail forwarding, return-to-sender processing, and special deliveries
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required
- Basic computer literacy for package tracking systems
