Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute mail/packages according to ZIP codes and delivery routes
- Safely operate delivery vehicles following traffic regulations
- Collect outgoing mail from residential/commercial collection points
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report discrepancies
- Provide excellent customer service during mail interactions
- Operate scanning equipment for package tracking
- Adhere to USPS security protocols for sensitive mail
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Kansas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency status
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Basic computer literacy for scanning systems
- Reliable transportation to depot location
