Responsibilities
- Conduct Data Analysis: Gather, interpret, and analyze complex data sets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement within city programs.
- Prepare Strategic Reports: Develop high-level reports, briefings, and presentations for city council members, executives, and stakeholders to support decision-making processes.
- Project Management Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of capital improvement projects and operational initiatives to ensure milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Policy Evaluation: Review current policies and procedures to recommend evidence-based modifications that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication between internal departments and external partners to ensure alignment on project goals and reporting requirements.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all program activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations and funding guidelines.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Science, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in program analysis, project management, or a related field within the government or public sector.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen (required for government access clearance).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and experience with database management or GIS software is highly desirable.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of resolving complex operational challenges.
