Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health programs targeting disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy decisions
- Collaborate with community organizations and government agencies to coordinate health initiatives
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Lead public health emergency response planning and execution
- Conduct community health assessments and report findings to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health administration or program management
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Strong data analysis and report writing skills
- Experience with grant writing and federal funding processes
- Knowledge of HIPAA, CDC guidelines, and Texas public health statutes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
