Responsibilities
- Lead multi-agency emergency response coordination during public health crises
- Oversee $5M+ grant programs for community health initiatives
- Develop data-driven policy recommendations for state health legislation
- Manage cross-functional teams of epidemiologists and outreach specialists
- Collaborate with federal CDC and local health departments on compliance
- Analyze health disparities data to design targeted intervention programs
- Represent MDHHS at statewide healthcare coalition meetings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health leadership experience
- Proven crisis management experience in government or healthcare settings
- Expertise in healthcare policy analysis and grant administration
- Strong data analytics skills with public health metrics interpretation
- Michigan government security clearance (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- PHR or CPH certification preferred
