Responsibilities
- Develop and implement county-wide public health programs addressing health disparities and emergency preparedness
- Oversee departmental budget allocation and grant compliance for federal/state funding
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and state agencies
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform policy recommendations
- Manage staff performance and ensure HIPAA/FERPA compliance
- Lead crisis response coordination during public health emergencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years progressive experience in public health management
- Valid Illinois Public Health Administrator certification
- Proven expertise in grant writing and federal program compliance
- Advanced data analysis skills with EHR/epidemiological systems
- Strong crisis management and inter-agency coordination experience
- Illinois driver's license required
